why does the camera on my LG Rumor 2 cause the phone to freeze whenever I try to use it?
Q. I just got an LG Rumor 2 about a month ago and it has been problem free until now. Now whenever I try to use the camera feature the black screen with the camera surrounded by the yellow circle comes up, but then nothing else happens after that. I have heard about this problem happening to other Rumor2's but I've tried every solution I've heard so far and none of them have worked.

A. I had a problem with the camera on my Rumor 2 from the beginning..it showed up as green and yellow in the picture instead of the normal colors. Try resetting the phone. You wont lose any info on it, but I guess it fixes certain things. The people at LG told me to do it on mine and it fixed my camera. To reset, leave the phone on, take the battery out and leave it out for at least 45 seconds (if you dont leave it out long enough, nothing happens.) Put it back in and try the camera again.

Q. I am a sprint customer and want to buy another phone as back up. I like the rumor 2 and see that it is now part of VM which works of sprint. Does anyone know if u can purchase the phone through VM but use it on sprint?

Q. I've heard that the LG rumor now has threaded chat, but how many messages from each person is it capable of holding? The Rumor can only hold 100 messags in each box. Also, does the Rumor 2 have the ability to send more than 160 characters at one time?

Q. My Rumor 2 acts like it's died, even though it was fully charged and working just hours ago -- it won't respond to pressed keys and it won't turn on. When I plug it into the charger, it makes the little "bleep-bleep" sound that indicates it's been plugged in, but after the sound, still no sign of life -- the screen doesn't light up and it doesn't respond to anything. This phone is only a couple of months old -- is there anything I can do? Thanks for any help.

A. It sounds like you need a new battery. I suggest buying a new battery for the phone and see if it turns on. You can also go to your local service provider store too.Test the phone there with a new battery. That way you won't have to spend money on the battery in case that is not if. If it is not the battery then you can do warranty exchange.

A. Hey Confused, Now that you have your memory card, you will need a card reader that you can insert your 4GB memory card into if your computer doesn't have one already built into it. You can get a card reader either from Walmart for about 10-15 dollars, Best Buy for about the same, or Amazon.com for 0.01 cent + shipping of about 3.00 (but then you gotta wait for it to arrive) Once you have your card reader, then you need your source where the music comes from, I.E; Itunes, Limewire, etc... and I know if you have a source like limewire, you will need to build your playlist and then save it to your computer so you can move it to Windows Media 11, where it can be recognized under whatever name you save it as. Then at the top of WM11, select… [cont.]
